Finally


It's such a strange feeling that in 24ish hours (possibly less, depending on whose timezone you're referring to) I'll be back in the city that I am (way more than) smitten with. Granted, I'll be there for less than 24 hours, but that's only because I'll be off exploring the rest of Western Europe..

Part of me is still in disbelief that this is all happening. (I know, I sound like a broken record. How annoying..) But really. Today was way too non-stressfull to be the day before international travel. Either I'm getting really good at this travel thing, or I'm going to forget A LOT of stuff. Not to mention I've managed to pack a *small(er)* suitcase and it's under 30lbs. That's a pound a day, people!

Anyway. I hope to keep you updated while I'm gone, and I hope you'll follow along too. If all goes as planned, the next time I'll be blogging to you will be from across the pond. ;]

Updates
My poor blog. Neglected for OVER a month! I suppose one of the perks, if you will, of not having many followers is being able to do so. Not that that's necessarily a good thing. I digress..

A lot has happened since I've been updating you with my life, so let's get to it:

  • Moving. The move went smoother than expected, but I always overly stress about that sort of thing. There were a few hiccups here and there but nothing really too unbearable. (Especially considering it was an 'out-of-state' sort of move.) Since then I've been trying to figure out where things go in my room, what to keep and what to get rid of, and all that wonderful stuff that goes into downsizing. Oh yes..
  • Lollapalooza. I can't believe I've been going for five years! I'm definitely not 18 anymore, and the long days can be oh so tiresome, but it's always worth it. It's such a part of my summers now that I can't imagine not going. I got to see some awesome artists (as usual), including: The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Gary Clark Jr., Miike Snow, At The Drive-In and many many more.. I was even lucky (?) enough to experience Lolla's first weather evacuation. That was a trip..
  • Everything else? Well, in between moving/situating, 3-day festivals, party-planning, and the like - I've been trying to get everything together for my trip to Europe. Here I thought I'd be having plenty of time to relax and chill out, but that just hasn't been the case. I can't complain though - everything that's been keeping me busy is also quite enjoyable.
Only 8 more days until I leave for my month-long trip to Europe. Where has all the time gone? (I promise not to let as much of it pass by before updating you again with my life!) ;]
